The Villains
Won.

The Oppressors dropped 148.88, Hot Dookie stayed perfect, JB Losman found 138.20 and the commissioner scored fewer points than a moderately ambitious weather forecast.

Week 3 belonged to the teams everyone had already started explaining away.

The Oppressors walked in 0–2 and scored 148.88. JB Losman walked in 0–2 and scored 138.20. Meanwhile, Hot Dookie moved to 3–0 with 145.72 and now leads the league in wins, points and reasons to stop laughing at the name.

The former top-ranked Lil Melonheads scored 116.70 and lost. The defending champion Musco Lighting scored 102.44, fell to 0–3 and now owns 328.82 points for against 409.82 points allowed. Fantasy football does not care about fairness. It barely acknowledges the concept.

Six finals, six new arguments

01
THE COMMISSIONER GETS COMMISSIONED

Always Jopo 113.84, All-Madden 72.66

Always Jopo never needed a miracle—just a functional football team. Lamar Jackson scored 20.44, Jeremiyah Love and Davante Adams added 19.40 and 19.20, and Joe turned the commissioner’s 72.66 into a public-service announcement. All-Madden followed a 139.02 masterpiece with the week’s lowest score. Consistency remains a beautiful concept that nobody here has met.

02
THE UPSET HAD A BODY COUNT

The Oppressors 148.88, Lil Melonheads 116.70

The Oppressors entered 0–2 and left with the week’s high score, a 32.18-point win and several broken preseason narratives. James Cook III ran for 154 yards, Brock Bowers erupted for 24.60, and Joe Burrow added 22.58. Lil Melonheads got 32.36 from Jaxon Smith-Njigba and still lost. Anthony did not merely get off the mat; he used it to swat the league’s former No. 1 power ranking.

03
THE ROOKIE LEARNS TO WIN UGLY

The Rookie 99.64, Don’t Touchdown There 86.26

Geno Smith’s 26.04 and Christian Watson’s 19.10 were enough to make The Rookie 2–1. Don’t Touchdown There received 28.66 from Sam Darnold and 16.00 from Jacksonville’s defense, then watched nearly everyone else file for quiet quitting. Nick has won two straight. The rookie label is beginning to look like false advertising.

04
THE UNDEFEATED FREIGHT TRAIN

Hot Dookie 145.72, Duf Dynasty 92.78

Jahmyr Gibbs scored 37.90, Drake London posted 29.90 and Hot Dookie won by 52.94—the biggest demolition of Week 3. Duf got 31.28 from Brock Purdy and 19.60 from Christian McCaffrey, which would normally qualify as a promising Sunday. Against Nathan, it qualified as decorative landscaping beside the crater.

05
THE NAME FINALLY LOST THE BIT

JB Losman 138.20, Musco Lighting 102.44

Bijan Robinson detonated for 40.30, Tyler Shough threw four touchdowns for 23.80, Garrett Wilson scored 23.70 and George Kittle added 23.20. JB Losman’s first win was a 35.76-point exorcism. Musco is now 0–3 despite scoring 328.82 points, which is less a record than a lawsuit against scheduling.

06
THE TWO-POINT SURVIVAL FILM

Purple People Eaters 87.02, Big Gruden Guy 84.88

Purple won the week’s closest game by 2.14 behind Kenneth Walker III and the Broncos defense. Big Gruden Guy got 20.30 from Ja’Marr Chase and 18.80 from Kyren Williams, but the Eagles defense scored zero and several starters joined it spiritually. Tucker gets the win. Dale gets the league’s first 0–3 start and a complimentary stress ball.

WEEK 3 MVP

Bijan Robinson

194 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, 19 receiving yards and 40.30 fantasy points. JB Losman needed a first win and Bijan responded by turning the afternoon into a controlled demolition.

Week 3 power rankings

These are editorial rankings, not Yahoo’s standings. Movement is measured against Week 2. Record matters; so does turning a supposed contender into lawn furniture.

01
UP 4

Hot Dookie

Three wins, 360.50 points and a 52.94-point Week 3 demolition. The joke name is now attached to the league’s most serious problem.

02
UP 8

The Oppressors

A 148.88-point ambush of the former No. 1 team is the week’s loudest evidence. At 1–2, Anthony is dangerous enough to ruin everyone’s spreadsheet.

03
UP 8

JB Losman

Bijan’s 40.30 powered a 138.20-point breakthrough. One win does not erase 1–2, but it does kick the door off its hinges.

04
DOWN 3

Lil Melonheads

116.70 would beat most teams most weeks. Unfortunately, it met The Oppressors during a supervillain origin story.

05
UP 3

Always Jopo

Joe is 2–1, third in the official standings and just held the commissioner to 72.66. The operation is stable and increasingly smug.

06
UP 1

The Rookie

Two straight wins and the league’s second-best points against. The Rookie has discovered the veteran art of letting the opponent unravel.

07
DOWN 3

Duf Dynasty

A 2–1 record keeps the floor high. Being run over by the Hot Dookie express keeps the ranking honest.

08
DOWN 2

Purple People Eaters

Tucker is 2–1 after surviving by 2.14. The ceiling remains enormous; the last two weeks have been a basement inspection.

09
DOWN 7

Don’t Touchdown There

Still 2–1 with 321.36 points, but 86.26 exposed a lineup that briefly forgot the assignment printed in its own name.

10
DOWN 7

All-Madden

From 139.02 to 72.66: the commissioner has personally demonstrated the entire emotional range of fantasy football.

11
DOWN 2

Musco Lighting

The defending champion is 0–3 with 328.82 points for—more than seven teams. This schedule should be questioned under bright lights.

12
EVEN

Big Gruden Guy

An 84.88–87.02 loss is cruel, but 231.72 total points are evidence. The rebuild now requires football, mathematics and possibly incense.

What Week 3 actually taught us

  1. Hot Dookie is the team to beat. Three games, three wins, 360.50 points and no remaining need for disclaimers.
  2. The Oppressors were never bad—just winless. A league-high 148.88 and 346.52 season points make 1–2 look deeply misleading.
  3. Musco’s title defense is trapped in a haunted house. The scoring is competitive. The 0–3 record and 409.82 points allowed are nightmare fuel.
  4. The Rookie can win without fireworks. Back-to-back victories now include a 99.64-point grinder.
  5. Big Gruden Guy has reached emergency mode. A 2.14-point loss hurts; an 0–3 record with 231.72 points hurts with paperwork.

The make-the-playoffs percentage

Six of twelve teams qualify. These are The Legends Wire’s estimates after Week 3, weighing record, scoring, points allowed and recent form—not official Yahoo odds or a statistical simulation. The percentages total exactly six playoff spots, because unlike several Week 3 lineups, the math showed up.

Hot Dookie86%

The only 3–0 team owns the best record, the most points and Week 3’s biggest hammer.

Lil Melonheads67%

The first loss came with 116.70 points; the underlying offense remains elite.

Always Jopo61%

Two wins, a top-three seed and the league’s second-stingiest defense.

Purple People Eaters59%

Two wins and the Week 1 eruption still provide a sturdy playoff base.

The Rookie58%

Two straight wins plus only 277.98 points allowed make the runway inviting.

Don’t Touchdown There55%

The 2–1 record matters more than one ugly 86.26-point Sunday.

Duf Dynasty52%

Still above the line at 2–1, though the negative point differential adds smoke.

The Oppressors48%

No 1–2 team has a stronger offensive résumé than 346.52 points for.

All-Madden45%

The weekly range is terrifying in both directions, but 318.14 points keep hope alive.

JB Losman36%

The 138.20-point breakout proved the ceiling; now the record needs to catch up.

Musco Lighting24%

An 0–3 hole is real, but 328.82 points say the champion is not dead—just cursed.

Big Gruden Guy9%

At 0–3 with the league’s fewest points, the climb has become a rescue operation.

Week 4 brings All-Madden versus Lil Melonheads, a top-four collision between Always Jopo and Purple People Eaters, and undefeated Hot Dookie facing newly dangerous JB Losman. The league has learned three weeks of lessons. It will ignore all of them immediately.
